Meet the Teacher
For over 30 years, Jill appeared professionally in the United States and overseas. She holds a music degree from Indiana University and has appeared with prominent orchestras, in over 1000 weddings, and at various events and resorts all over the Phoenix area. She is the rare breed of classically trained performer who can still move comfortably through jazz and popular music styles. Jill has worked with small ensembles, countless singers and regularly duets with other instrumentalists in the valley.
As a harp teacher in the valley, she has taught hudreds of students, ages 7 and up (never too old to start harp lessons!) and she can tailor lessons for the hobbyist, the non-music reader, the curious or even the future professional!

My daughter and I are so happy to have found Jill. Her patience and understanding (not to mention sense of humor) has made learning the harp a joy!
Cathy: age 42
I took up harp a year ago. I am so happy with my progress. At first it was hard because of my eyesight. Then Jill took it upon herself to have the music blown up. She even bought a new, extra bright light for me.
Mary, Age 72
Jill was my harp teacher for 8 years. I went through long periods of not practicing. However, she never gave up on me. Now I am almost done with my harp degree from a well-known harp program at a Major University.
Becky, age 21
I absolutely enjoy Jill's teaching. She makes it fun and she doesn't make it stressful I really look forward to my online lessons each week.
